Lucy was born Lucille Frances Ryan on March 29, 1968, in Mount Albert, Auckland, New Zealand; she was the 5th of 7 children, of Frank (formerly the mayor of Mount Albert, is now the Chairman of Finance for Auckland City) and Julie Ryan (homemaker and an active volunteer in their community). Lucy enjoyed acting and appeared in many plays in high school. Later, she attended Auckland University and studied German, Italian and French for a year. She studied acting at the William Davis Center for Actors in Vancouver, Canada in 1991, under the direction of actor William Davis, also known as the "Cigarette Smoking Man" from the hit T.V. series The X-files. Lucy was chosen Mrs. New Zealand in 1989. She did a "really bad, cheesy commercial for travel" which led to her first real acting job in a New Zealand comedy troupe show called "Funny Business." Later, Lucy landed the job as co-host for Air New Zealand Holiday, a travel magazine. Lucy worked in numerous television and film productions. Finally, she got her breakout role of Lysia in "Hercules and the Amazon Women" (1994) (TV). Shortly thereafter, the producers needed someone to play Xena. Lucy, tall (5' 10-1/2"), athletic, with brown hair and blue eyes, was perfect for the part. But there was a snag: at first, the producers (what do they know?) did not want Lucy for the part of Xena-- after all, she had played a different character already. So, Lucy dyed her light hair a dark brown, making her look a bit different, and history was about to be made! Lucy, in her leather outfit and armed with her mighty Chakram, was thus cast in her signature roll of Xena in 3 episodes of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1995)-- "The Warrior Princess"; "The Gauntlet" and "The Unchained Heart"-- that would lead to her own spin-off series, "Xena: Warrior Princess" (1995). Although "Xena" immediately got a huge fan following in America, ironically "Xena" was not being shown in her native New Zealand, so Lucy did not achieve her tremendous popularity in her homeland until a bit later. Lucy made her Broadway debut playing Betty Rizzo in "Grease" from September to October, 1997. She has since appeared on The X-Files, The Bernie Mac Show, Just Shoot Me and Spiderman. She has done extensive charity work in support of breast cancer research, the prevention of child abuse, the acceptance of breast feeding, and the Starship Hospital Foundation, of which she is a board member. Recently, she retuned to her singing roots and embarked on a New Zealand performance tour with musician David Dobbyn. Lucy married executive producer Robert G. Tapert in Santa Monica, California on March 28, 1998. On October 16, 1999, they had a son, Julius Robert Bay Tapert, born in New Zealand. Although "Xena" has been canceled after a fantastic 6-year run, millions of Lucy Lawless fans know it is still just the beginning for her.

In total Kylie played main venues in the UK before heading home to a sellout 7 minute crowd. It was the first chance Kylie had at creating a tour from scratch. WIth the death of ex Michael Hutchence a few months earlier it was just the tonic to re-produce the excitement that the fans knew she possessed. His follow up to the smash hit Romeo+Juliet was the bohemian love story encased within the Moulin Rouge. Starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor, Kylie was cast as the green fairy. At first Luhrmann had used an animation but once it was deemed not good enough he thought that only Kylie could be the fairy. They organised time off and she rushed to Australia to film her section, including the operatic version of "The Sound Of Music". The absinthe fairy is actually a real logo and there is a history behind the fairy which delves deeper into the Moulin Rouge. The film has already received Golden Globesland Nicole Kidman an oscar nomination. A successful return to the big screen for Kylie...Maybe there a future Baz script that will fall Kylie's way...we can but hope.Adam Garcia(Coyote Ugly,Saturday Night Fever) was a special guest in this Saturday night extravanganza.Kylie had been given her own hour long show to entertain and present songs from the new album "Fever". "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" was dominating every chart in the world, and spending it's 12th week on top of the Worldpop global chart, it was more of a celebration.Very few artists get given there own primetime show and the press were reporting that Madonn'a had said her kids were in love with the new song.It seems in 2001 no-one could get Kylie out of their heads. A performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards left crowds in Berlin breathless and subsequent awards were won at the Top Of The Pop awards in Manchester and4 nominations for 2002 Brit Awards. The song has topped charts all over the world and "Fever" has already sold in excess of 3 million copies worldwide after just 3 months of sales.The Kylie star has never shone so brightly. On a more personal level Kylie has suffered from emotional exhaustion this year due to the punishing workloads and promotional schedules and her dad was also diagnosed with Cancer, which it seems he has beaten as I write this. So as 2001 comes to a close and the news that "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" is No.1on the USA dance charts with a full American release of "Fever " due in February, it's is time that the world took note of the first lady of pop music in the 21st century...step forward Miss Kylie Minogue...May your reign continue....

Jennifer Anne Garner was born on April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas to Bill & Pat Garner. Bill is a retired chemical engineer and Pat is a retired college English teacher. Her parents were always supportive of Jennifer and helped her to pursue her dreams. Raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Garner began appearing in television and film in the mid-1990s. While growing up Jennifer studied ballet for six hours a day which helped teach her discipline that would help her later in life. Jennifer graduated from George Washington High school in the class of 1990 and went on to attend Dennison University. She started college majoring in Chemistry. She later changed her major to drama when she realized that her passion for the stage outweighed her love of science. Jennifer did a few other feature films before landing her first role on a television series, "Significant Others". Also featured in the ABC miniseries "Larry McMurtry's Dead Man's Walk" (1996), Garner made her big screen debut in 1997, with roles in Agnieszka Holland's adaptation of the Henry James classic "Washington Square" as well as the modern NYC tale "Deconstructing Harry" and the comical "Mister Magoo". Jennifer Ellison born on May 1st, 1983 in the English city of Liverpool. Entertainment was in her blood from the very beginning. When she was 2 years old, she was sitting on the counter at a fish 'n' chips restaurant and screamed that one day she would be famous. At the age of 3, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Studying the arts, she became a dancer. She was so good that she won national championships for both ballet and modern dancing in 1996 and 1997. This led to her snatching the coveted lead role in a ballet production, which was performed before Princess Anne at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. Acting was always something she wanted to try. Since the age of 9, she had been writing letters to the producers of the hit British soap opera Brookside to see if there were any roles for her. As expected, all her queries were met with disappointment, but her parents were proud of her drive. In 1998, she was informed by her manager that Brookside was holding auditions for a couple of 14-year-old girls who would portray sisters. Originally paired with an actress with whom she had absolutely no resemblance, she was fortunate when the producers dismissed the latter and matched her with Suzanne Collins. The two young actresses got the parts although Ellison was initially signed on for only six episodes. However, Kudrow's career in research was cut short when a friend of her brother, Jon Lovitz (Saturday Night Live alum), suggested that she audition for the comedy troupe, The Groundlings. Kudrow was not accepted the first time because of her lack of experience but after working with Cynthia Szigeti, a well-known comedy teacher, she got in in 1989. During that time, Kudrow entered a romance which evolved into an enduring friendship with then-unknown late night host, Conan O'Brien. On Kudrow's road to success, she suffered a few disappointments before winning the role of Phoebe Buffay. Kudrow was originally cast as radio producer, Roz Doyle, on Frasier, but was replaced by Pery Gilpin before the pilot episode was filmed. Kudrow also had high hopes that her recurring role as waitress Ursula on Mad About You would turn into a steady gig. Fate, however, had other plans. The next pilot that Kudrow read for and cast in was Friends. Born March 24, 1970, in Davenport, Iowa, Lara was an only child, and her parents divorced when she was six years old. Following the breakup, Lara moved to Chicago with her mother, where they settled down near Wrigley Field. She would never see nor speak to her father again. At a young age, Lara was diagnosed with a learning disability, and was consequently enrolled in an improvisational workshop to develop ways of expressing herself. Over the course of the workshop, Lara developed a strong interest in acting, as well as a knack for it. She was offered, and accepted, a scholarship to the Chicago Academy for the Arts. While she was still in her sophomore year, Lara received her first casting call, for the TV miniseries Amerika. She made her film debut the following year, in 1988's Poltergeist III, and went on to win a role in the 1989 made-for-TV movie, The Preppie Murder. Having already gained a wealth of television experience while still in her high-school years, Lara felt that her course was set. On the day after her graduation from the Chicago Academy, Lara and her mother moved to Los Angeles, hoping to build on the promising beginning of her career in the geographical heart of the entertainment industry. In 1990, Lara landed the part of vixen-next-door Donna Hayward in David Lynch's cult series, Twin Peaks.
