Rosanna Arquette has made her mark in independent and mainstream projects alike. Acknowledged as an actress of rare depth and scope, Arquette's first break came as a young teen in the movie of the week Harvest Home, directed by Leo Penn and starring Bette Davis, who took Arquette under her wing. She went on to play an asthmatic child in the Afterschool Special Mom and Dad Can't Hear Me and soon after that portrayed an alcoholic teen on the popular series James at 15. Her role opposite Tommy Lee Jones in The Executioner's Song brought her great critical acclaim, as well as her subsequent performance in Martin Scorsese's After Hours. Pfeiffer now develops her own projects and can even call her own hiatus time -- she intends to leave the glamour behind for a time to focus on family.
